The New Year has kicked off to a great start! We had a wonderful time shooting this Hollywood wedding for one of the most sought after music engineers around. You never know who's going to show up, but when your filming a wedding on the sunset strip, surprises are inevitable. Kanye West among others attended in support for his musical partner and stunning bride. The lovely bride failed to disappoint as she walked beautifully down the isle as her delighted groom patiently waited. This moment in time is just a reminder to us on how lucky we are to be apart of capturing beauty and the essence of time for many who are fortunate to find love. Happy New Year to everyone!

As a wedding videographer we're frquently asked advice from couples on various aspects of the wedding day. We love to assist our clients with as much information as possible. Sometimes the questions range from possible venue selections to the making of the wedding cake. When selecting a cake, here are a few things to keep in mind:

- Have a good idea of the budget and what sort of cake you have in mind
- What fillings the cake will have? Sponge, fruit, or chocolate?
- Do you want a tiered cake?
- You can change the icing on your cake to match the theme
- Custom toppers (optional)
- It's recomended that you order the cake months in advance
- Ask about delivery cost

Whatever design or style you choose, the wedding cake plays such an important role in the wedding day; having the perfect wedding cake to slice with your partner will make the day extra special.

It was an amazing wedding captured with truly unique imagery. Filming wedding videos in Los Angeles, are always a treat. The vast locations and scenery host the most beautiful wedding videos. We had the pleasure of filming this bride in Palos Verdes. We are extremely happy with how the venue, decor, photography, videography, etc. turned out. What was most important to you on your wedding day? I never wanted to lose focus on the reason that I'm celebrating this special day. I just wanted to celebrate being with the man that I love forever.
Could you describe your wedding day in three words? Lively, Romantic, Bliss

What moments stand out to you most when you look back on the day? Having all of my friends and family together in one place is most memorable. I'm glad that we captured these moments on video to keep forever. Now I can relive that moment over and over.

My Wedding Day Bliss

It was a beautiful warm September morning and I woke up extremely relaxed and was determined to stay that way, everything was planned the night before. I made sure to have fresh flowers around and all my accessories in one place with my dress. I slipped on my white robe and had a glass of champagne as I listened to calming music playing in the background. I remembered not to sweat the minor details and to always remember that I'm going to marry my best friend and the love of my life. That thought kept me on the right path. Let me tell you ladies..... enjoy every minute! Don't let anything get to you! There will be missteps and everything won't go as planned, but the time flies and it doesn't pay to waste even a minute of it being upset. Just have fun, take it in and try to remember every second of what you and your future hubby made happen on that special day!

Michelle's Tips:
Have your wedding Videographer and Photographer capture those special moments when your getting ready! Have the makeup & hair artists come a half hour before the Videographer and Photographer so that you have some images of them just finishing up and not completely bare!

Ian and Judith were visiting the United States and decided a few weeks prior to their trip that they would exchange vows in Los Angeles! They're both in the entertainment business and it was a dream to have their ceremony in the Land of the Stars. They couple were looking for an affordable Wedding Videographer in Los Angeles that would capture the beauty of the moment which they could show at the reception back in Scotland. They wanted a quick ceremony so we suggested an area in Malibu that they agreed on and they loved it. This was a beautiful day.

We had a great time shooting a beautiful wedding a couple of weeks ago in Vancouver. I can't wait to return. The weather was great and we tried a new technique with the lighting that gives it a great effect.
